Internet influencer Jake ‘Problem Child’ Paul fought Nate Diaz tonight at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Coming back from an L against Tommy Fury in February, Jake Paul bounced back from his first career loss. Paul chose the perfect opponent to reinforce his January announcement of joining the Professional Fighter’s League, an American MMA league founded by venture capitalist, Donn Davis.

Paul, who knocked Diaz down in the fifth round with a check hook, said he was sure he’d won the fight on the judges’ cards and thought Diaz won only one round. “Although he’s a warrior, you know? I had him hurt in the first round, he kept on coming and no one’s taken that much damage,” Paul said.

The judges scored it 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91.

Paul is 7-1.

The money line bet for the fight had Paul as the favorite at -400 ($400 to win $100) and Diaz at +333 ($100 to win $333).
