Three straight losses in, the Raiders finally sealed the deal on a win. It was a hard fight and not even subtly graceful, but the Raiders were able to upset the Packers to win 17-13. With two interceptions and a ball deep into the end zone, targeting Christian Watson with 50 seconds left, the game was a pressure cooker. Amik Robertson grabbed the game-winning interception ending the game with a crescendo

The top performance of the game for the Raiders was by Robert Spillane who had two big interceptions, including one late in the fourth quarter with the Packers over the 50-yard line. Spillane has been one of the better veteran signings for the Raiders in recent memory, steading the linebacker position. Maxx Crosby had several tackles for a loss and a sack in the fourth quarter.

The Raiders will face a formidable foe in Week 6, hosting the New England Patriots. With the Patriots struggling (1-4 on the season) and a 2.5 point spread in favor of the Raiders, it’s a good chance that the Raiders will win and get back to .500 by next week.
